Oracle Developer  

The Technical Consultant Key Responsibilities:

• Requirement gathering: Expected to work closely with business analysts and business users in taking functional and reports specifications/requirements

• Application Development: Development of Oracle reports; Creation of SQL packages, functions and procedures utilizing Oracle tools such as Oracle PL\SQL, Workflow, Forms, BI-Publisher, and others.

• Integration and Interfacing: Integration of Oracle EBS standard and customized reports to and from customized application. Creation and maintenance of interfaces from integrating systems for import/export into/from Oracle EBS

• Support: Troubleshoot issues to find the root cause and provide technical solution on the new and existing developed applications, Forms, reports and interfaces

• Training and Implementation: Train users; Implementation of the reports/applications;

• Support on Service Desk: Ensure SD tickets are resolved within SLAs; customer satisfaction is kept to at least 95%

• Project Assisgnments: Ensure assignments are completed within the agreed deadlines; Ensure all work is fully documented by following established IT software development processes.

Required Skills:

• Understand database structure design for Tables, instance, views, sequences, synonyms and database triggers specifically Oracle EBS database schema.

• Experience in Oracle Reporting Tools (e.g. Oracle BI Publisher, XML Publisher, HTML Reporting)

• Experience in using interface files such as generating and/or loading data from spreadsheets, text files, etc.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with strong knowledge of Oracle Applications and Database.

• Strong knowledge and experience in Oracle (SQL & PL/SQL) and Java programming

• Experience with Oracle development tools, including Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, OAF, BI-Publisher

• Experience in support and maintenance for Oracle EBS modules like Financials (AR, AP, GL, FA, etc)
